Frequently Asked Questions

If you can’t find an answer you need, please don’t hesitate to contact me →

What populations do you serve?

Daniel works with adults (18+) for both individual therapy and couples counseling.

Is therapy available in-person or telehealth?

Alignment Therapy is a telehealth-only practice, so all sessions are conducted using HIPAA-compliant technology like Zoom.

Do you offer appointments on evenings or weekends?

Yes to both. Daniel understands that standard business hours can often be a barrier to care, so he works to accommodate client schedules when possible. If you have questions about specific times, please reach out.

Do you see clients outside Washington state?

Not at this time. Please check back in late 2027, as the Counseling Compact continues its rollout.

How much does therapy cost?

The standard rate for a 50-minute session is $200 for individual therapy and $225 for couples counseling.

In order to increase access to evidence-based care, Daniel also offers a limited number of discounted, sliding scale spots. Please get in touch to find out if any of those spots are currently available.

Do you take insurance?

Daniel is an out-of-network (OON) provider and does not accept insurance directly. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement through OON benefits by submitting superbills to your insurance company. If you’re interested in learning more about your OON coverage, Daniel is happy to provide a list of specific questions you can ask your insurance representative before beginning.

Do you offer free consultations?

Absolutely. It’s important to feel confident that we’re a good fit before we begin working together. After you reach out, we’ll schedule a free, 15-minute chat by phone or HIPAA-complaint Zoom so Daniel can learn more about you and you can ask any questions you might have.

How can I get started?

You can either click the ‘Contact’ button in the top or bottom menus or send an email requesting a free consultation.
